However.what I learned is that if you drag the wrong firmware it bails half way through the file transfer. When I did the update firmware by holding power for 5 seconds and then pressing reset it opened an explorer window that let me drag the firmware into it. But after manually adding the device in lightburn I was able to communicate with the laser. The LM2 Pro is apparently driverless on windows 10. yes I was able to get it running but I'm still not sure why. I'm running Windows 10 (OS Build: 19043.1266) and there appear to be no more driver updates from windows update. But so far they've been unable to help.Īnyone have any tips to get this device running properly? Emailing Ortur gets a response every few days or so.
But the moment I drag it in the window closes and it tells me no such drive exists. This does bring up a folder on my desktop allowing me to drag in a firmware file.
When it comes back up I don't see the drivers listed in the device manager. When I install the drivers it goes all the way through installation and then tells me to reboot, which I do. I just put together my Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro and connected it with the supplied USB cable to my windows 10 PC.
